Temple Tuesday - Finishing Strong

Are you familiar with the phase “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish”? Interestingly enough, this saying is actually Biblically sound. The Word says (quote verse), “The race is not given to the swift, but to him that endures.” Note there’s nothing in there that condemns those who start late, those who fall down and get right back up, or those who fall down, lay around and just roll in it honey. This means it doesn't matter if you're late to the race or if you don't do everything perfect.

All that matters is that you keep pressing towards a FINISH!

3 Tips to get started (again):

1. Make a list of things that worked for you in the past, and things that didn’t. Be determined not to repeat those things.

2. Begin adding your health concerns to your DAILY prayer efforts. Find 1 anchor Scripture to commit to memory for strength.

3. Adopt 1 new healthy habit. Don’t add another until you’ve mastered it. Keep it simple, ie. Eat fruit every morning, Drink 8-10 glass of water of water a day, etc.

You can always GET BACK UP. Now, for accountability, comment and tell me ONE thing you can do today.

Your Temple Tuesday treat this week is my homemade granola recipe adapted from Minimalist Baker. SO easy and a fantastic topper for your smoothies or salads!
